My favourite podcasts

About two years ago I stumbled across a podcast App called Castbox. I can’t actually remember how I hearned about podcasts, but what I do remember is that it was love at first sight. Since then I have listened to podcasts while cooking, folding my laundry, walking, getting ready for the day, on the train and winding down at night.

I love it how you can listen to bits of wisdom of your favourite podcasters around the globe whenever you are in the mood for it. There are all different kinds of podcasts about topics from love to health to personal development. One of the greatest things about it are that you can download your favorited episodes and listen to them when you have time no matter if you are connected to Wi-Fi or not and you don’t need to stare at your screen the whole time like when watching a video.

This post is not sponsored or anything, I just find a lot of value in listening to podcasts and I wanted to share my favourite ones with you in the hope that you will love them as much as I do.

My favourite podcasts

The ground up show

This is the podcast from Matt D’Avella, who is a minimalist filmmaker and has very unique and funny way of storytelling and making videos. His podcast consists of solo episodes and interviews on topics such as minimalism, creativity, choice making, being a freelancer and creating a meaningful life.

RISE podcast

I am a huge fan of Rachel Hollis the host of the podcast and anytime I listen to her voice talking about goal setting, dreams, morning routine, how to make your dreams come true and creating a meaningful life, I feel so deeply motivated and inspired to take the next action step towards my goal. In each of the episodes she give tangible tools which you can apply right away to your life or business.

Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu

He is the co-founder of Impact Theory and Quest Nutrition. On his podcast he mostly has interview guests who are high achieving and have an inspirational story to share with the world.

Yoga Girl: Conversation from The Heart

Rachel Brathen is a yoga instructor on Aruba and on her podcast, she has open and honest conversations about topics ranging from healing to nutrition. In her episodes she talks about difficult situations in life which hardly anyone talks about.

The Brendon Show

The host of this podcast Brendon Burchard is the world’s leading high performance coach and since the
launch of his podcast in February 2014 there have been many different seasons like the audios of transformation week and his book High Performance Habits. His most important message to us all is to live, love and matter.

The School of Greatness

Since Lewis Howes launched his podcast in 2013 it has become more and more popular. He does interviews with gamechangers in mindset, health and relationships, solo-episodes and his famous 5-Minute-Friday format.

The Minimalists Podcast

In 2015 Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus (aca The Minimalists) have created their famous
podcast on which they talk about any topic related to minimalism. I am really passionate about minimalism myself and I love to listen to the calming voices of the hosts and their guests.

Happy, holy & confident

Even though the title is in English it is a German podcast Laura Seiler. On her podcast she talks about spirituality and how to listen to your heart. I really love to listen to her calm voice and I especially adore her guided meditations. I actually got to know Rachel Brathen over this podcast.

I hope you found some value in this post and I am looking forward to reading about your favourite podcasts in the comments down below. If you know someone who would love this post please don’t forget to share it with them.
