Wow, this is the first blog post on my own blog, and I can’t believe that it is finally up and running. There was a lot to set up and figure out and I am glad that I didn’t give up. I am still learning how this all works, so please have patience with me but I will try to not disappoint you. As for now I run this blog on my own, but I had a few helpers setting it up. I am really grateful to have such amazing people in my life who cheer me on and help me, when I need them.
So how did I actually get the bold idea of starting this blog, my WhatsApp group and the Instagram account all called “The Shining Self”? A couple of years ago I lived in Australia for a year and like every teenager I faced the question, “what will I do for a living”? One day, my host mum suggested that I should study Psychology, because she thought that I would be good at it– this may be true as I love to listen to others, try to support and cheer them on.
Long before the time to take the entry exam arrived, my dream shifted from becoming an ordinary psychologist to becoming a coach on motivation and self-development. Over the years I often became devastated that so many people drag themselves through life and seem like they live in a cage.
My passion is to encourage the people around me to be happy and live their dream lives. Often it only takes a few little changes to solve the struggles we are dealing with. I want to teach you some techniques on how you can be excited about getting up in the morning again, so you can’t wait to start your day. We all have dreams, but most of us are much too scared to follow them all the way through. I know it is not easy, but today’s world has so many opportunities for us to do anything we want.

Although I hardly have any experience in this field yet except through reading books or following others who are already experts in this field on social media and learning from their work. I love making a positive impact in the lives of other people.
Life isn’t always easy, I know, but you can choose your attitude.
